19 corporate teams, including Price Waterhouse Coopers, Clifford Chance and Premier Oil, battled it out on the golf course recently at this year's CHASE corporate golf day.

The event was held at the prestigious Coombe Hill Golf Club in Kingston upon Thames, an impressive course which was designed by JF Abercromby, one of the foremost golf architects of his day.

The teams started with a bang at 9.30am with a Shotgun Start, with competitions at specific holes including Longest Drive on the 8th, Gamble Hole on the 12th, and a special treat on the 9th...competing with British PGA professional Lucinda Davies!

After the game the players enjoyed lunch followed by an auction of amazing prizes kindly donated by CHASE supporters; including a test drive of a new luxury car from Inchcape plc, a visit to the set of Midsomer Murders from Bentley Productions and once-in-a-lifetime round of golf with professional golfer Ronan Rafferty. The auction raised over £5,500 for CHASE.

CHASE Corporate Fundraising Manager Natalie Madigan said: “We would like to thank all the companies for taking part and supporting CHASE at this event. It’s a great opportunity for the teams to experience a corporate activity, all whilst raising much needed funds to help support local families with life-limited children.”
