Ks assistant boss Graham Harper has promised no sweeping changes as he and boss Tommy Williams plot a Ryman Premier League title challenge.

Familiar faces Rob Tolfrey, Aaron Goode, Josh Casey and Sam Page have all agreed new deals at Kingsmeadow since the new management team took charge last week.

The pair are confident striker Andre McCollin and midfielder Steve Laidler will follow suit, while they have added former AFC Wimbledon star Alan Inns and ex-Carshalton Athletic striker Nathaniel Pinney to their ranks.

Williams’ appointment last week has raised a few eye brows in some circles, but ex-Hampton & Richmond Borough defender Harper – who lifted the Ryman Premier League title with the Beavers – is confident they can find that extra five per cent to get Ks into the Skrill South this time around.

“We’re not silly enough to blow the doors off everything that is here,” said Harper, below.

“It is clear to us we need to carry off where Alan Dowson left off.

“People may have been surprised we were appointed, but we weren’t.

“This is a brilliant club. It is a sleeping giant.

“There is a great platform to kick on here and we are confident we can find that extra five per cent to get the club promoted and perhaps prove a few doubters wrong.”
