Surrey-based dog crèche business, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, has scooped another leading business award.

The fast-growing small business was crowned Best Customer Service winner at the SME Surrey Business Awards 2016 on November 30th and received runner-up in the Business Innovation category.

This follows hot on the heels of winning the best UK doggy day care accolade at the national Pet Industry Federation Awards 2016 on November 1st.

The SME Surrey Best Customer Service category was decided by a public vote. Once nominated, it was down to Bruce’s Doggy Day Care customers to decide whether the company exceeds its expectations, invests in building long term relationships and providing a service that is consistently outstanding.

They obviously thought it did and voted in their hundreds making Bruce’s Doggy Day Care the clear winner. Bruce Casalis, managing director, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, said: “This is a fabulous award to win. We always strive to go above and beyond for all our clients; four-legged and two. There is no better endorsement than that of your customers and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have won Best Customer Service. Thank you to everyone who voted for us, we’re chuffed to bits and very proud.”

Bruce Casalis founded Bruce’s Doggy Day Care in 2009 with just a couple of huts and a few acres. He now employs 35 people, and runs two sophisticated purpose-built sites totalling 30 acres which care for over 500 dogs of all shapes and sizes.

The canine customers are collected in special air-conditioned doggy buses from their homes in catchment areas around London and Surrey. They then spend the day at the Bruce’s Doggy Day Care facilities having fun with their four-legged friends before being driven home tired and happy.
