This is the latest weapon in Surrey Police's mission to stop antisocial driving and speeeding.

The force has recruited a Smart car to grab driver's attention and make them slow down.

It is part of Surrey Police and Surrey County Council’s Drive SMART initiative, which aims to make the county’s roads safer.

The little car can get down narrower roads.

Dr Andrew Povey, leader of Surrey County Council said: "Its novelty value alone is sure to grab people’s attention and hopefully encourage motorists to drive safely."

There are more than 50 speed-related collisions every month on Surrey's roads.
