Commuters trying to use South Western Railway today faced complete chaos with hours of delays, cancellations and last minute changes.
Major disruption was caused by a points failure at Wimbledon this morning, and it is expected to continue until 7pm tonight.
This comes the day after another round of disruption which saw long delays on all lines.
Commuters expressed their frustrations on Twitter.
One addressed SWR: “Do you not understand the disruption you are causing to people’s livelihoods and quality of life with these continual delays?
“Multiple times in the last few months I have been late to work, can't even get in or can't get home.
“It was never like this with South West Trains.”
Terminating a crowded train into an already overcrowded Surbiton station this morning was not just incompetent but DANGEROUS!!, does someone need to get hurt before you will act SWR ??? @swtrains_watch @SW_Help @SWTwits pic.twitter.com/Ss0LpuTFgo

One woman spent more than two hours trying to get work but then was forced to go back home because of the disruption.
Others criticised the lack of communication from SWR.
One said: “The points failure isn't your fault, but communication is your area, and I've been standing at Thames Ditton for an hour waiting for trains that disappear from the board without any warning moments before they are due.
“Tell us in advance if they are cancelled!”
That's the spirit. @SW_Help announcer, Surbiton: "passengers for #LondonWaterloo are advised to get this train. It's late. It's full. It's a stopper. And we're not sure where it's terminating. But it is a #train." pic.twitter.com/BWk40Mj1HJ

Another said: “After 80 minutes of waiting for a train to Waterloo from Weybridge now on train Woking hoping I can get something back into London. You shower of ****.
The rail company said “services are improving” and “staff are working hard to rebuild services for later”.
