A 17-year-old has been charged with throwing a corrosive substance at a teenager in Kingston.
This follows an incident in Fife Road at about 6.40pm on July 21 that sent a man to hospital and still requires him to receive treatment for facial injuries.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged on Saturday, October 7, with throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to commit grievous bodily harm, and with assault causing actual bodily harm.
He has been bailed to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on November 8.
