A fire completely destroyed a derelict house near Norbiton Station early this morning.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers attended the scene in Station Road, after being called at 5.25am.
The entire two-storey end-of-terrace house was destroyed, but there were no injuries reported.
Watch manager Tamer Ozdemir said: βOn arrival crews arrived to a well-developed fire with flames and smoke coming out of all the windows. Crews worked hard to contain the fire to house of origin and successfully stopped it spreading to the neighbouring adjacent property.β
The fire was under control by 7.10am, and its cause is under investigation.
