You'd be forgiven for thinking summer is over and done with when you look out your window this morning, but all hope is not lost.
Stong winds of around 60mph have brought a blustery end to the glorious weather we have enjoyed this week.
But while wind and rain is set to put a dampener on the weekend, the sunny weather is expected to return next week so don't go dusting off all your winter gear just get.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for southern parts of England, so if you were planning on visiting the coast this weekend you may want to rethink.
The sun is expected to make its return on Sunday with partly cloud conditions during the beginning of the week.
Temperatures should climb back up to the mid 20s by Tuesday.
