Children at a Surbiton primary school welcomed a polar explorer into the classroom this week.
Students from St Andrew’s and St Mark’s Primary School donned puffer jackets and took part in workshops investigating physics in the Arctic.
They also made polar gloves to understand insulation as explorer Ben Collins popped into the Maple Road school on Tuesday.
The day was part of the school’s work towards the primary geography mark.
