Children at Warren Mead Junior School are creative, imaginative and listened to!
Two Year 5 girls Caitlin and Louisa thought they had a good idea. They came up with the outline of a business plan and asked the Head Teacher if they could raise money for a vegetable patch.
Fruit Fridays were born! The girls sell a selection of fruit every Friday to both children and staff for a small profit.
Their Head Teacher, Mrs Sandra Cunningham is very proud of their business skills and enterprise! She said, "The children love Fruit Fridays. We are a Healthy School and this project simply reinforces this."
