My name is Richard Hay and I am the Store manager of Sainsbury’s Kiln Lane, Epsom. I’m writing to invite you to join the Sainsbury’s Active Kids scheme.

Active Kids is a voucher collection scheme that enables nurseries, schools, Scout and Guide groups and sports clubs to collect vouchers and redeem them for cooking, growing and sports equipment plus active experiences.

Last year, with the support of colleagues and customers, Sainsbury’s reached the landmark of donating £136m worth of equipment since the scheme’s launch in 2005, and have over 51,000 nurseries, schools, Scout and Guide groups and sports clubs registered and taking part.

This year Active Kids 2014 is more exciting and rewarding than ever, giving you even more great reasons to get involved.

• As maintaining the balance of being active and eating well is vital in helping kids to lead healthier lifestyles, this year we’ve included more cooking equipment in our catalogue to help inspire kids and equip them for a healthier life. We’re also offering a double value Ingredients Card*, to help provide the store cupboard ingredients required to deliver cooking lessons and activities • Also new this year, simply by creating your wishlist online by Friday 28 February you could be one of 32 organisations to win your wishlist.

And if you get members of your local community to nominate your school online you’ll have another chance to win.

• That’s not all, submit your 2014 order online by Wednesday 16 July, then send the printed order form with your vouchers to us by Friday 18 July and we’ll enter you into our free prize draw to win your order and have it delivered by Ellie Simmonds!

So why not join now so that you don’t miss out on all that is available with Active Kids 2014. You can find out more about what’s on offer by taking a look at our website at sainsburys.co.uk/ActiveKids or call 0844 415 84402 . Vouchers can be collected for every £10 spent in Sainsbury’s supermarkets, petrol stations and with groceries online and for every £5 in convenience stores until 20 May.
