Regarding Epsom Downs Racecourse roof being blown off again, it is a design fault.
Basically the roof is shaped like an aeroplane wing, when the wind blows it lifts off.
The designers should have known about this basic fault.
It will need to have a superstructure above the roof of criss-crossed piping to act as a pressure to keep the roof down.
Ask any engineer.
