The Epsom Guardian launched its Zone 6 for Epsom campaign last May
Although it may be convenient if Epsom station was in Zone 6, it may mean that some fares would be higher.
According to the National Rail website, a 10am return ticket from Ewell West to Waterloo is £12.90, but from Epsom is only £8.90, even though it's further away from Waterloo!
I live halfway between Epsom and Ewell West, but I dare not get out at Ewell West on my return for fear of being fined.
Fares from Ewell West are the same all day, but fares from Epsom differ between rush-hour and other times.
