A chauffeur driven Mercedes caught alight on the motorway on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to the fire between junction 8 and Leatherhead's junction 9 on the M25 at 6.45am.
A Leatherhead firefighter said the fire came from the engine compartment of a silver Mercedes.
He said: "The fire damaged the front end of the car. It was a write-off."
