I have lived in Epsom for nearly 80 years and have seen many changes over these years and not for the better, I am sorry to say.
To park costs a fortune.
From one end of the town to the other there are nine sets of traffic lights from the Ewell bypass to South Street, with at least six or seven charity shops and two bus stops creating one lane traffic and absolute chaos. It is a nightmare, north, south, east and west.
All of this discourages shoppers and shopkeepers suffer for it and cannot afford the rent.
All of this is ruining Epsom.
Why has a bypass around the town never been sanctioned?
