A long time ago (earlier in July) in a galaxy far, far away (East Molesey), a young group of budding Jedis was given a masterclass in battling with lightsabers.
Star Wars fans aged 10 or over learned stage combat skills and choreographed a film-style fight sequence in a session at Imber Court.
The class was run by Stagecoach Talent Agency.
A parent of a performer who attended the masterclass said: “Jove had an absolutely amazing time, being able to perform to an audience at the end with the iconic music was his favourite part. He has been practising ever since and is likely to be a professional Jedi in no time!”
Tarquin Shaw-Young, head of casting and managing director at Stagecoach Talent Agency said: “After a successful run last year, we decided we wanted to give a new generation of aspiring Jedi masters a chance to prove their skills through creating their very own battle sequence with other performers from across the UK.
“The day saw children building their trust, confidence, collaborating, getting creative and most of all having a lot of fun!”
