Disgraced celebrity publicist Max Clifford has been re-arrested over alleged sex offences.
The former Hersham resident, 71, is currently serving eight years in prison after being found guilty in May last year for eight counts of historic indecent assaults.
Clifford, previously of Onslow Road, was taken from prison to be interviewed at a police station in Peterborough yesterday, the BBC reported.
The Metropolitan Police did not named Clifford, but confirmed a man was arrested in connection with allegations of sexual offences under Operation Yewtree.
The investigation, which has three strands, was launched in October 2012 after the revelations of Jimmy Savile came to light.
The Met said the 71-year-old was arrested under the strand of the investigation not linked to the activities of Jimmy Savile.
