If you have been toying with the idea of writing a play for the cornerhouse one acts play festival, then you need to get your skates on.
The deadline for entries for the annual festival of original playwriting which takes place at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton, is at the end of the month on Wednesday, October 31 - which means you've only got a couple of weeks to submit your masterpiece.
Plays need to be between 15-30 minutes long, and have a maximum of six characters and be suitable for a family audience.
Directors for the week-long festival which will take place in April next year will also be needed. The deadline to put your name forward as a potential director is Friday, November 30.
More information about how to submit a play or apply to be a director can be found on the Cornerhouse website at thecornerhouse.org or by emailing oneacts2013@thecornerhouse.org.
