Royal chuckles through youth arts festival show at Kingston theatre
11:10am Friday 20th July 2012 in News By Nazia Dewji, Reporter
The show was at Kingston's Rose Theatre
Prince Edward chuckled his way through a musical performance at the Rose Theatre on Tuesday night.
The Earl of Wessex arrived early for a drinks reception at this year’s Royal Gala before he was seated at the front of the auditorium for the opening night of The Dreaming.
He laughed throughout the performance that gave a modern spin to A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
More than 600 theatregoers turned up for show performed by youngsters from the National Youth Music Theatre.
The night included music, theatrics, comedy, song and dance and was part of the International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF) that began last month.
The IYAF will continue until Sunday, July 22.
