Surbiton escalator choir build a stairway to paradise
A mass sing-a-long on the world's largest single truss escalator takes place at the end of the month.
The Surbiton Escalator Choral Society will perform for the first time while riding the escalators of the Bentall Centre.
They will be singing I'll Build You a Stairway to Paradise at 7.05pm on January 27.
Everybody is welcome, but the event only lasts five minutes so it is imperative you arrive on time.
A brief rehearsal will be held at Bishop's Hall Car Park, off Thames Street, at 6.30pm on the night for those who wish to practise.
