Award-winning children’s author Dame Jacqueline Wilson has donated a signed copy of her latest book to Surbiton’s British Heart Foundation shop.
The charity is now encouraging others to follow her lead, have a big clear out over the bank holiday weekend and help it in Big Donation, which launches on national donate day on August 28.
In the UK’s biggest ever stock appeal, it aims to collect 400,000 bags of stock, the equivalent of £8m, in the fight against heart disease.
The Surbiton shop, in Victoria Road, will give the 100th donator the signed copy of the Kingston author’s Little Darlings.
