Thames Water was called to two water leaks in Kingston and Tolworth over the weekend.
On Saturday, after a water leak at the London Road junction with Queen Elizabeth Road, the westbound road of London Road was reduced to one lane.
Repair works are expected to take 10 days but Kingston Council traffic engineers said that because of light traffic during the school holidays traffic was not being disrupted.
On Friday, the water company was called to a leak in the bus lane of Ewell Road at the junction with King Charles Road on the way into Tolworth Broadway.
The leak has been repaired but may take five days for the concrete to fix.
