Kingston's current mayor Ian McDonald is the sole Lib Dem in Old Malden, but is standing down at the election.
Sitting Conservative campaigner David Fraser and Mick Amson are standing again, as is Ghazala Hayat, a Lib Dem councillor they defeated in 2006.
Daniel Goodger, a regular correspondent in the Surrey Comet's letters page, is standing as an independent candidate.
