A north Kingston ward with a thriving local arts scene, Canbury encompasses Kingston town centre to the north of the station and several primary schools.
It includes riverside Canbury Gardens, Kingston mosque and a small part of Kingston Hospital.
Canbury voted Labour in 1998, Liberal Democrat in 2002 and was split between two Tories and one Lib Dem last time around. In 2006, the Green Party candidate beat Labour into third place.
