In our page three story last week, titled Support cop hid euros in pants', we were incorrectly informed by the Metropolitan Police that Graham Cope was a Kingston-based Police Community Support Officer.
Cope, who admitted the theft of euros, was in fact based in Hammersmith and has never worked in Kingston.
Press Bureau, the Met's press liaison service, twice confirmed to the Comet he worked in Kingston. We apologise for any confusion caused as a result of this story.
