Kingston Hospital has launched its first ever holiday play scheme to help improve the work life balance of its staff.
The Honey Pot Club offered staff working for the hospital and Kingston Primary Care Trust access to affordable child care for five to 12-year-olds over the Easter holiday.
The hospital said the scheme was so successful it will now run during every school holiday.
Sean Cunningham, father of Hannah, 10, said: "I think the club is tremendous.
"The staff are so enthusiastic about their work and my daughter absolutely loved it. With two working parents it's hard enough trying to find childcare for two weeks over Easter, let alone for the long summer break, so we'll definitely be using it again."
