Richmond has emerged as the safest borough in London according to police murder rates.
The borough has seen 15 killings over the past 10 years just over one a year compared to Lambeth, which recorded 149 killings in the same period.
The force recorded 211 murders in the whole of London between April 2003, and March 2004 a rise of 7.5 per cent.
Kingston recorded 17 murders in the past decade, making it joint-third safest, together with Merton.
