Kew children's charity React was given a welcome boost from five London Marathon runners who raised £8,000.
David Allan, James Mason, Helen Roberts, Martyn Symes and Suzanne Gregory, from cosmetics company Coty UK based in Wimbledon, successfully completed the 26.2-mile run.
Marketing director David Allan, who lives in Kew, said: "It was an amazing experience. It was great knowing we were running for such a good cause."
React helps children with life-limiting illnesses live a better quality of life in comfort and dignity.
