The fastest bird in the world made a flying visit to one of Europe’s biggest animal rehabilitation centres ahead of its open day this weekend.
The young peregrine falcon was found lying on the ground by the side of a road by a member of the public who then took it to Wildlife Aid Foundation’s centre in Randalls Road, Leatherhead.
After several successful test flights being given a clean bill of health, it was taken back to where it was found and released back into the wild.
The charity holds its open day on Sunday, July 9. For more information and tickets, visit wildlifeaid.org.uk
