A police officer based on Kingston Borough has been charged following an allegation of assault.
PC David Guest was served with a postal charge requisition to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 19 for the charge of assault by beating.
The decision, of which he was notified on Tuesday, April 11, follows an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards relating to an arrest made while PC Guest was on duty in Kingston-upon-Thames on October 15 last year.
He is currently on restricted duties.
