Drivers visiting eight of Elmbridge's car parks can now pay by using their contactless cards.
Car parks in Churchfield Road in Weybridge, Hollyhedge Road in Cobham, the Civic Centre in Esher, and commuter car parks in Weybridge, Walton and Hersham have all been installed with contactless pay machines at the end of December.
Councillor Andrew Davis, portfolio holder for highway and transport, said: “We are always seeking to improve the service we offer to our residents and it is great that we can now provide them with even more convenience in our car parks.
“The contactless payment method is quick and easy and I have no doubt that it will be appreciated by all our car park users.”
