Kingston Road Recreational Park
A woman was the victim of a “serious sexual assault” in Kingston Road Recreational Park last night.
Police were called to the park at about 11.30pm yesterday after the woman, in her 20s, told officers she had been assaulted by a man roughly two hours earlier.
Officers from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are investigating the assault. No arrests have been made.
Monday, April, 11: Woman raped in New Malden
Last week a woman in her 40s was raped in Springfield Place, New Malden, as she walked from the South Lane West area.
Police are currently not linking the two incidents.
