A man has been charged following an alleged road rage outburst in Hersham involving a woman with a 15-year-old daughter.
Thomas Neale, 47, of The Close in Sutton, has been charged with a public order offence for using abusive and threatening language.
The charge followed a minor crash where a woman in her 40s was driving with her daughter when a car attempted to overtake her on Molesey Road at about 8.20pm on Tuesday, December 1.
She pulled to the side of the road where she was approached by the driver, a man in his 40s. She claimed he then shouted abuse at her.
Mr Neale is due to appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 3.
