Train services are currently delayed through Weybridge due to a faulty train that broke down earlier, causing delays of up to 20 minutes.
The 11.50 train from Poole to London came to a stop shortly after Weybridge due to a fault, blocking the line for fast trains towards London Waterloo, forcing all other trains to use the slow line between Weybridge and Surbiton.
The broken down service has now resumed its journey but will be terminating at Clapham Junction to be inspected by specialist staff.
As it runs at a reduced speed to Clapham Junction it may cause delays of up to 20 minutes to other services behind it.
Delays are expected.
