A Brockley man has appeared in court charged with battering his mother to death with a bottle at her Lewisham home.
Gilbert Corette, 45, is accused of murdering pensioner Florise Corette, 81, at the house in Lochaber Road on July 8.
He is also charged with GBH with intent of a woman believed to be his sister, aged in her 50s, during the same incident.
Corette appeared at the Old Bailey today (July 14) via videolink.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on October 16 for a plea and case management hearing.
