Grazing sheep, mature trees and rows of long-demolished homes - this is how Worcester Park's Central Road used to look 100 years ago.
These images are part of a free exhibition being held this weekend that show just how much the area has changed over the last century. The idea was generated by Pets Place owner Brendan Austin.
Co-organiser Richard Johnson said: "I saw those wonderful old photos that are so far removed from today and thought it would be such a crowd-pleaser.
"It struck me that these images would be of great interest to the wider community of all ages and to aid recognition of often much changed locations, I have re-photographed each scene as accurately as possible - standing as close to where the photographer stood as I could."
Head along to the Royal British Legion from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, May 2 to take in the full range of 100 photographs comparing 50 vintage scenes with their modern viewpoints.
