Surbiton Halloween attack: Two men appear in court charged with assaulting Robbie Kingsford
Two men will appear at Kingston Crown Court charged with assaulting a young man on Halloween.
Robbie Kingsford, 21, of Leatherhead, was left with severe facial bruising after an attack in Surbiton in the early hours of Saturday, November 1 last year, as he walked with a friend near KFC.
Alan Banks, of Surbiton, and Samuel Light, of Westville Road, Thames Ditton, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The pair, both 26, will appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, March 20, for a preliminary hearing.
Mr Banks, of Channon Court, Maple Road, also faces a charge of exposing himself to a separate alleged victim, a sexual offence which can carry a maximum sentence of two years in prison.
