It has or will have affected everyone at some point.
Loss is universal - and students from Southborough High School have teamed up with the YMCA in Surbiton to explore the subject in a new play.
The GCSE students were asked to weave their experiences into a performance that, on the night, will mesh with one by the Benchmark theatre group, based at the YMCA.
Clare Fry, from Benchmark, said: "The students at Southborough High and the members of Benchmark were asked five questions about loss, including ‘what was the hardest thing you ever lost?’ and ‘what does loss look like, feel like, smell like or taste like to you?’
"The play is inspired by their answers to these questions."
- Head along for opening night on Wednesday, November 12, at 7.30pm. Entry is free.
