A man has been cleared of raping a woman in Tolworth.
Karim Tshibangu, 28, of no fixed address, was acquitted by a jury after two-and-a-half hours of deliberation on Friday.
The not-guilty verdict came after a trial at Kingston Crown Court that lasted more than four days.
The incident was alleged to have taken place after a night of drinking in May.
Mr Tshibangu had been offered a bed at the home of a friend of the woman who alleged the rape. Both had been drinking.
