Kingston’s small charities are set to receive a share of £150,000 from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.
People are invited by Chelsea Building Society to nominate small charities and good causes. All nominated charities will be considered to receive a £100 share of the Charitable Foundation’s anniversary donation.
This is part of Yorkshire Building Society Group’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
People can nominate a charity between Monday, August 18, and Saturday, August 23, in the Kingston branch in Thames Street.
Dan Charles-Haskey, manager of Chelsea Building Society in Kingston, said: "We’re all really excited to get involved in the Group’s 150 year celebrations and to have our branch be part of a £150,000 giveaway that could help benefit our local community is just brilliant."
