A man has been hospitalised after falling from a school roof.

The man, in his 40s, fell 15ft from the roof of St Paul’s Junior School in Princes Road, Kingston, just before 3pm today.

Building work is being carried out at the school.

A London Ambulance spokeswoman said the man was taken by road to the major trauma unit at St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

The man, who was conscious, complained of neck and lower back pain.

The air ambulance was also called.
