  • "I think it is a nice idea if done right. It would be nice to be able to put visitors from outside the area up in a nice part of Kingston for a change.

I hate it when people come to visit me and have booked into the Travelodge on Old London Road. A nice day out around Kingston is often ruined when I lead them fhrough the puking and fighting masses outside the Kings Tun and Oceana only to find they have a room where they can actually hear the sound of the nightclub through the wall!

Kingston is a mixed area, and I don't think anyone wants to pretend it is all wine and roses, but it would be nice to have some accommodation options that weren't at the lowest end of the scale."

A Kingston town centre boozer could soon have guest rooms for sleepy drinkers.

The Druid’s Head is a grade two listed building.
