A woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a bus this afternoon by Cromwell Road bus station in Kingston town centre.
The Metropolitan Police said it was called at 4.38pm.
The age of the woman is not known but is believed she was a mother.
The bus station was completely taped off by police after the incident, redirecting the town's buses using the one way system.
Witnesses say the bus station was taped off by police after the incident with a heavy presence of six police cars or vans, three ambulances and London Transport response units.
