"Thank you for the wonderful memories you have left me with, they will never fail to make me smile. Sleep tight Tay, I love you so much. Now, forever and always."

Friends, including colleagues at the Bounemouth University student union bar, have also paid tribute to Miss Woodard. Drew Hollinshead said: "RIP Tayla Woodard. Always remembered, never to be forgotten. Talented, beautiful, caring and an incredible friend."

Student Jessica James added: "Tayla Woodard so glad to have so many lovely memories with you! R.I.P Tay, love and miss you forever and always."

Miss Woodard wrote regular articles for Bournemouth independent newspaper the Rock and had ambitions to be a showbiz reporter.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 5:50am on Sunday to reports of a woman taken ill at a residential address in Worcester Park.

"The woman, aged 20, was taken to a south London hospital where she died at 6:22 am.

"A post-mortem examination took place on Monday. No cause of death was given and we await the results of further tests.

"The death is being treated as unexplained at this stage."

A 20-year-old man was also taken to hospital as a precaution but has been discharged.
