The London Air Ambulance landed in Surbiton today after a man was injured inside a house.
Paramedics were called to a property in Upper Brighton Road at just after 2pm, with the air ambulance landing in Fishponds in Ewell Road at around 2.30pm.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 2.10pm to Upper Brighton Road in Surbiton.
"We sent London Air Ambulance, two ambulance crews and a duty officer to the scene.
"A male patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance."
She declined to give further details on what had happened to the man and the extent of his injuries, citing patient confidentiality.
A spokeswoman for London Air Ambulance said: "Our advanced trauma team was dispatched to an incident in the Surbiton area at 2.17pm.
"A patient was transferred by land ambulance to St. George’s Hospital."
Police were not called to the incident.
