Does anyone understand why this junction is so dangerous? It seems a straightfoward light-controlled crossroads to me, but the number of accidents seems to be huge.

The junction isn't dangerous, but the standard of driving is.

Actually, this junction is HUGELY dangerous, especially turning right against 2 oncoming lanes of traffic, when the view can be obscured by large vehicles. I can't understand why the morons in charge of such matters haven't introduced filter arrows a long time ago....

Agree with Steve's comments on bad drivers, I have noticed a hige increased over the last year and have lived and driven in the same area for 30 years.

Also the Junction is dangerous and also congested and Surrey Country Council is not interested. The Juntion need widening coming from Epsom or oxshott to allow for both turners and people driveing through the junction and also needs filter lights for th right turners coming from Leatherhead and Chessington.
All Surrey County council is interested in is building more housing with no thought or planning for the increase in traffic. Same story everywhere aross the county!!!!
