A chef and former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant popped into the borough to meet Surbiton Probus members and their partners.
Television personality Rosemary Shrager who rose to fame in the ITV series Ladette to Lady where she sternly taught unruly ladies manners mixed with haute cuisine, spoke to members about cookery and her life in a speech.
The men’s social club for retired or semi-retired businessmen and professionals hosted the speech at Glenmore House in The Crescent, alongside a festive three-course meal on December 18.
