A teenager has admitted carrying a knife in Alexandra Recreation Ground in Tolworth.
The 16-year-old Surbiton boy, who cannot be named, carried the kitchen knife into the rec in Kings Charles Road on June 23.
He admitted carrying a bladed article without good reason when he appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Youth Court on Wednesday.
The boy was ordered to attend a youth offender panel for three months, and told to pay a victim surcharge of £15, which goes toward a fund for compensating victims of crime.
