Traffic flowed both ways in Victoria Road, Surbiton, yesterday for the first time in weeks.
Emergency sewer repairs by Thames Water were finished at the end of last week, and workers relaid tarmac on Sunday.
The road was closed at the beginning of October after concrete blocked a sewer pipe beneath the road outside Sainsbury’s.
A Thames Water spokeswoman said: “We’d like to thank everyone for their patience during this vital sewer repair work.
“We replaced 15 metres of sewer pipe damaged after concrete was poured into our network.
“We’re continuing to investigate how this happened and will look to recover the costs of this clean-up operation from those responsible.”
Barriers remain on one side of the road, connected to the Surbiton Plaza 2 development.
