The company behind the proposal to develop Surbiton’s filter beds has been given a date for a public inquiry into the controversy.

Kingston Council refused planning permission for 64 floating homes, plus a marina, restaurant, and more, at the Portsmouth Road site.

But Hydro Properties has appealed the decision and an inquiry has been scheduled.

The five-day investigation will take place at County Hall, Penrhyn Road, beginning on Monday, November 25, at 10am.
